HELP!! Landscaping Along A Fence?

The picture I am sending is after we had alot of trees taken down. We would like to landscape along the fence, and I'm not for sure what plants would work. The right side gets mostly shade (which I do have some hydrangeas and azaleas to transplant. But would like to incorporate other plants and small to medium trees.

Hi Shelly

You can do many things with area. Not knowing the dimensions or the exact zone you are in, I did this quick drawing for you. It is pretty basic with Royal purple smoke trees (they are the taller trees), Arrowwood viburnums,(they are the dark green with white) Chollipo euonymus (they are the green/yellow) and Tuscarora Crape Myrtles (they are the red trees in the center).

The plants on the right are Hydrangeas.

Other plants that might work would be Weeping cherry, Magnolias, Fern leaf full moon maple, Lilacs, Redbud trees and Witch-hazel
